Our Continuous Quality Improvement Committee meets monthly to review resident care and services. Its work includes communication with residents and families, the dining experience, falls prevention, medication use, pressure-sore prevention and healing, and maintaining zero use of restraints.
The home also monitors pain control and wound care, and shares statistics with its management company, Extendicare, for comparison with provincial averages.
